4B students working on telling time and being timed

Students worked with a partner or in small groups on timing one another on different activities. They had to see how long it took them to count to fifty in Spanish, turn around ten times, count backwards from twenty to cero and draw five animals.

4C students creating their own Eric Carle stories in Spanish

We read the story, The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse by Eric Carle. Students then created their own version of the story in Spanish. They used the translator app on their IPads to formulate their sentences. Once the stores are completed they will be read to and given to their book buddies.
