Students were activity engaged in asking one another questions about different daily activities. Each question was asked to five different classmates which helped re-enforce vocabulary. Some of the questions asked were, Do you like to ski?, Do you like to visit the museum?, Do you like to play basketball?, Do you like to read? and so on. Students really enjoyed asking questions and recording their friends answers. It was wonderful hearing them speak to one another in Spanish.

3A students combining Spanish with Science on the human body
Students in third grade are so engaged and are having fun working on a collaborative project combining Spanish with Science. Working alongside Mrs. Borsch and watching students understand the skeletal system is inspiring. Students are beginning to understand the functions of the body and their importance. Integrating Spanish and Science into the project has added an element of creative thinking. In groups of two or three students helped one another trace their bodies and then began adding the skeletal and muscular systems. Every bone and muscle has been labeled in both English and Spanish. They will continue adding the nervous system, respiratory, circulatory and digestive systems.
