3A students practicing Spanish phrases

Welcome back everyone! It was wonderful seeing the children's excitement when coming to class. We have begun the year learning specific phrases that will only be said in Spanish. My goal this year is to build on Spanish vocabulary to ensure a level of fluency. I will be posting the vocabulary and phrases on my blog  for you to practice with your children. These are the phrases we are currently working on:
  1. Tengo una pregunta- I have a question.
  2. Puedo ir al baño- Can I go to the bathoom.
  3. Puedo ir a la enfermera- Can I go to the nurse.
  4. Puedo tomar agua- Can I get a drink of water.
  5. Puedo usar el sacapuntas- I need to sharpen my pencil.
  6. Necesito un pañuelo de papel- I need a kleenex.
  7. Por favor- please
  8. Gracias- thank you
  9. De nada- you are welcome

Here are a few photos of your children practicing the phrases with a partner.
