1B students creating their own Hungry Caterpillar stories in Spanish

Students have done the most amazing job creating their own versions of The Hungry Caterpillar Story. This was the first time they used their iPads for a project of this type.  They decided on a sentence for what their caterpillar would eat on a particular day and typed it into the translator app. Spelling was important for the translator to give them the accurate translation.

3B students labeling their bones in Spanish and English

Students continue to learn about their bodies in both Science and Spanish class. They began by identifying the names of  the bones in Science class and are now labeling them in both Spanish and English. I have enjoyed watching them collaborate with one another and listening to them state the names in Spanish.
